Home is in sight per Dr. Whitaker

Sheree just returned from walking a double lap. She kept missing the turns and walked the full lenght of the unit and back.

They are checking her hemoglobin and are considering medication to address her light headedness. She ate an egg sandwich that didn't meet up to Ronald's standards, but ate most of it. They want her to drink lots of water which has been a habit for many years already.

They are suggesting that she go home today or tomorrow, but it sounds more likely for tomorrow, depending on some outcomes this afternoon.

We are encouraged and taking it one day at a time.

  4. Just learned of your surgery from Nadine this morning. Sorry you are having to go through this....hopefully the results will be very positive. Nadine said I couldn't join the blog before she did :-) but she had to go to work and I didn't since I'm home on sick leave (foot surgery yesterday). Just wanted you to know that we both are praying for you even though she isn't a member of your blog yet. Seems like you're going home very quickly so hope that means that the doctors are pleased with your progress. Take care.

  5. Thanks for the faithful updates. So excited that there could be a trip north=home before too long. Sounds like you are doing great. Will continue to pray for you, I know that just because you may get to go home, that isn't the end. There are more days ahead. Will pray for strength for EACH day, one day at a time.
    Love,

  6. from Jean:
Yay! You're making such good progress, and now you have Heide for the week-end as another "track coach"? She'll be making those laps with you. Keep working hard, resting up, eating well, and looking forward to better days in the future.
